Got it sorted. The problem was the glossary component v.2.74 not playing nice with PHP 5.3.13 and Joomla! native SEF. Uninstalling the component solved the blank page issue leaving me now with a no-awesome-glossary-component-issue. Cheers. Edit: Problems solved.
