This is a pre-sales question.

I have set up a main Joomla 1.5 site with eight different sub-domain and template theme sites on the same server.

I am not a seasoned Joomla expert and would like to know if it will be easy to set up JMS to run all these sites that they each sub domain site opens up as landing page.

With JMS, you can effectivelly defined several sub-domain.

With JMS, each website is totally independent.
I don't understand what you mean with landing page.
As each website is independent they have their own content.
Therefore they have their own front page.

Sometimes when downloading from internet, the file may be corrupted and this is the reason why I have send it to you by email.

What I have is one main domain which is hosted on my server and have set up several Joomla 1.5 installations each with their own install, dbase settings and configuration all on the same server.

They all have an extension added to the main domain.

With the Multi Sites Menu extension would it be possible to say include the adsmanager menu mod on the main sites frontpage and then link to respective site say like classified, cars, property etc?

I think you have entered a wrong email when you have posted the request.

JMS 1.1 provide more flexibilty and also benefit of a better compatibilty with extension.
I think that I will stop publish JMS 1.0 in june or july when I will release JMS 1.2.x

With JMS, you will use a single Joomla installation (files and folders) to create independent website because they will have their own DB content.
Therefore, each website will have its own content, user, articles, .... or whatever that is store in DB will make the website totally independent.
With JMS, you only share the files and folders on the disk.

In other words you adsmanager will not be shared between the website.
If you want to share menu, you can use ou "Multi Site Menu Item" that create a bridge between the menu of different websites defined in JMS.
This require JMS 1.1.x.
