TOPIC: Install Problem
#143
Install Problem 15 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Greetings,
Pardon me if I missed something obvious here, as I'm a multi site newbie. After going through the install process and getting a successful install message, I do not get redirected to the "Site Manager" page so that I can start setting up slave sites, etc.

What am I missing in this process?

Thanks!

Dear Jason,
If the "install process" means the installation of the JMS component into joomla, you are normally redirected to JMS manage site once you have registered the product. You perhaps need to re-enter your jms2win.com login and password during this registration process.

If the "install process" means something else, would you be more precise.

Pardon me for my obvious lack of clarity.

I do intend that "install" means to install the JMS module into Joomla itself. Initially there was no "register" option because someone had come ahead of me and already registered the product.

Assuming all of this, would I need to attempt a re-install or is there another process I should investigate?

Thanks.

Dear Jason,
When JMS detect that it is already registered it does not display the registration button and finish as all the extension.
You can continue navigate into Joomla as usual.
This just means that there is no additional step with JMS.

Pardon if I'm beating the horse here but given your last post, shouldn't I have the "Site Manager" option in Joomla as it is show in the documentation? How else would I create the slave sites, etc?

As it stands, I don't have that option. Am I missing something still?

Thanks.

Give screenshoot to let me see what you have and also give me the page reference in the document on what you expect.
Give a very detailled description of the problem.
Perhaps this will help me to reply you.
