TOPIC: Mutisites component in slave sites

Mutisites component in slave sites 15 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

JMS 1.1.17 joomla 1.5.9

When creating new slave sites from template, Multisites component is in the new sites.

Template - Folders and Files tab: Multisites = Ignore: Ignore Folder or File.

Can I delete the Multisites component from slave sites with no danger to Master site?

Mike, you can un-install JMS from a slave site.
BUT you can not ignore the directory multisites into the files and folder panel of the template.

It is required by JMS.

In a future release, I will change the possibilities of this folder into special to avoid ignore it.

So when you say delete the multisites component from the slave site, I understand uninstall the component using Joomla / Extension / Install & Uninstall.
If you want to say delete the multisites DIRECTORY from the slave site, the answer is NO.
