Hello,

I have today upgraded to the latest version of JMS.

I uninstalled the patches before and install them again after the upgrade.

I am getting the following error messages in check Pathes Installations:

Unable to decompress data,

Error while deploying the patches update.

* IT IS REQUIRED TO UPDATE WITH A JMS VERSION 1.1.17 or HIGHER.
* You can go on wwww.jms2win.com, login with your account and go in the menu "Get Latest Version".
* Select the Joomla Multi Sites and click on the "Get Latest Version" button in the top right, to receive a new download ID.
* This update is required because it also needs an update of the JMS core
* Use the slave site deployed directory as administrator directory when present. Otherwise use the master website directory

Actions:

* Replace 2 lines by 26 lines in aim to use the slave site deploy directory instead of the master directory
* This allow for example to manage the specific media or image directory from the back-end.

The status information is still as it was before I upgraded:

Patches definition version: 1.1.10

First, the title is marked as JMS 1.1.21 but the trace that you give me show that you have JMS 1.1.16 with the patches definition 1.1.10 (the latest one).

As mentionned in the message provided by JMS, to update JMS with version 1.1.21, you have to go on wwww.jms2win.com, login with your account and go in the menu "Get Latest Version".
www.jms2win.com/get-latest-version

Select (check box) the Joomla Multi Sites and click on the "Get Latest Version" button in the top right, to receive a new download ID.

This update is required because it also needs an update of the JMS core.

I have also noticed that you are using PHP 5.2.5 that contain several bugs.
This version contain many buffer overflow that could explain some problem during unpack of files.
If you can update your PHP version, this will also be a good point.
You will perhaps see in our JMS change history that we had to re-implement some peace of code to avoid using some mathematical library function that have bugs in PHP 5.2.5.

Below you will find the download ID corresponding to your products.

In case where the URL provided to each product is broken and splitted on several line by your email application, you can go directly into the download area and enter the code provided beside each files.

If you have updated JMS with 1.1.21, the "check for update" is normally not required as it contain the latest version of the patches definition.

The procedure is "uninstall" the JMS patches;
Install the new JMS 1.1.21 using the standard Joomla / extension / install
Re-install the JMS patches.

You should have a JMS 1.1.21 installed and no more a JMS 1.1.16 as mentionned in your previous post.
