m.s. article sharing: image not showing on slaves 15 Years, 6 Months ago

Hi,
we're using multisites 1.1.21 with article sharing. This is working great, however today for the first time we created an article with an embedded image on the master site. When we look at this article through the article-sharing plugin on the slaves, the article on the slaves is being displayed just fine, however the image is not displayed, but a red cross instead.
What could be wrong here and how could we use this so that images are also shown on slaves?
thanks.

Stepha, this probably mean that the path to the images is not identical between the master and the slave site.
If for example you have created a slave site with a specific image folder, the image is probably not present in the slave.
So check the path used for the image.

hi,
it is correct that each site has its own images. each slave site is also managed by a different editor and we do not want them to be able to see/work with the files of other slaves. The articles on the master are entered by a person who is responsible for news all should see, but she is no admin on all sites. Does this mean that anytime she makes an article on the master site i have to copy the images manually to all 10 slaves?
thanks for the super quick replu.

Another solution is to provide the image a full URL including the domain name.
In this way, you will be sure of the image that will be displayed.
