duplicate modules on slave sites. 8 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello

I have a problem I do not know how to solve.

The slaves are sites with duplicate modules as shown. How do I resolve this issue?

Duplicate module let suppose that the same extension is present with multiple ID into the slave site.
The only solution is to "uninstall" the module and re-install them.

Remark: If you uninstall the extension with the JMS Tools, you may suppose that the uninstall will not work as long as there is still extension ID present for the module.
You will probably have to uninstall it as many time as you have occurence of the module.

Becarefull when uninstalling a component with the JMS Tools.
This also DROP the MySQL tables used by this extension.

The uninstall of a module or a plugin does NOT remove the MySQL tables.
The only thing that you will lose are the parameters associated to the module or plugin.

See also the extension manage and search for the module.
You will probably have several occurence of the extension with multiple extension ID.
You may also try to uninstall the module from this place.

Before doing any "uninstall" we recommand to perform a backup to ensure that you can rollback in case where you will encounter a problem or a side effect somewhere.
