i have the Autotweet NG Pro extension and would like to use it on slave sites - but in backend, on slave sites, there are no additional fields popping up - in the main site it does show the fields...

there is another thread on Autotweet NG Pro and it was solved but i am not sure this is the same reason here.

I have installed the AutoTweet version 6.6 that you have sent to me by email.

You have different method to install an extension
1) Use the JMS tool menu that consists in the installation of the MySQL tables required by extension. So the extension must be defined in the JMS tool

2) Use the Joomla extension / discover menu from the back-end of the slave site.
This will launch the equivalent of the extension manager / install except that the code is already present in the website.

3) Re-install the extension from the back-end of the slave site.
When you re-install an extension from the slave site, in fact this overwrite the PHP code present in the master. JMS verify that you are installing the same version of the extension before that joomla proceed with the installation.


In my case, I have used the method (3) to ensure that all the required module and plugins are also installed.

If you still have problem, can you describe in detail the procedure that you use to perform the installation and also provide screenshot with the errors that you encouter.

I know these methods, and i used number 3 also.
Now i also tried number 2
and i think i also have tried number 1 when trying to get the component to work.

the problem is that i can not create a Channel.
Reproducing the problem:
- Please install the component and go in the slave site
- then go to Autotweet>Channels
- then add a NEW channel
- select the type and if you select facebook, on the right side, there should be configuration options appearing - like App secret, use own fb app,... but nothing changes and without this appearing, it is not possible to set up a Channel.

Channels can be set up in the master site, but not in slave sites...

I have tried reproducing what you described and I am not able to have the "configuration" on the right as you explained.

I have the error in the master due to Javascript that has error in Autotweet.

I have tried with Firefox and Chrome.

In chrome, I don't see the error but I don't have any chanel type availableon the right.
And the "select type" on the left is also empty.

Sorry but as long as I don't have anything reproducable on a standalone joomla that is working, I can not compare with a slave site and a potential javascript file missing (with wrong path in the slave site - that is a potential common error that may explain the behavior that you are describing).
