We are having a problem with article sharing in Joomla 3.1.1, with Multi Sites 1.3.14-basic, patches 1.3.11 and Multi Sites Content 1.2.00.

We have created a menu item (displayed in menu module) called Training, with alias training. As supposed this creates a working link example.com/training and example.com/index.php?option=com_multisitescontent&view=article&site_id=:master_db:&id=1

So SEF/mod_rewrite/htaccess should be configured correctly.

However the menu item in the menu module gets the link example.com/component/multisitescontent/?Itemid=102, where the itemid represents the menu id within the slave site.

We have a complete identical setup of the website in Joomla 2.5 (only the content language / domain name differs), where everything is working perfectly. So to me it appears like a Joomla 3.1.1 bug?

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Additional information: we also installed extension Multi Sites Menu Item 1.1.4. But to be sure we disabled the extension in the slave site. The htaccess is just the default renamed htaccess.

I can reproduce it with the "Article Sharing for JMS version 1.2" and Joomla 3.1.
So I can investigate this case and tell you what is hapening under Joomla 3.1
It works under Joomla 2.5

This is fixed in the Article Sharing version 1.2.01
