I'm really desperate currently. I have a multisite installation with one master (and no content) and a couple of slave sites with content. I can work with the slave sites and see them perfectly in browser. No problem at all.

BUT : After a while the sites were disappearing from Google.

I tracked the problem now down to multisite and the search bots. It seems that the search bots are crawling the empty master and not the slaves as they should.

We are still running Version 1.3.02. Is this the reason for that problem ?

Is this problem known already ?

Hi everybody,

problem is solved. It was caused by the "Geo Location Filtering". Preselected was "Europe" in 1.3.02 and that blocked the google bot coming from US

In 1.3.10 no filtering is preselected anymore. So if you leave that tab alone, you won't have those problems.

You mentioned a pre-selected continent in the JMS template rule.
Normally, when you update your JMS, this does not replace the existing JMS template rule.
So I don't understand how it can be removed if you didn't change it manually.

Can you be more explicit to explain which rule name was incorrect and the procedure that you used to fix it.

Remak: The latest version of JMS 1.3.11 and not 1.3.10

Well I fixed it by editing config_multisites.php. Couldn't deselect Europe in GUI on 1.3.02. This is possible in 1.3.10 and later and no continent is preselected. So no problem anymore.

The problem was there from the very beginning and not caused from an update.
