Hi!

I´m trying to figure out why some of my installed components had their names changed in the slave site and in the slave site administrator. So far I´ve not found any solution. I apreciate any help!

The reason is that you have a problem with language files.

Perhaps that they are not installed.

When an extension is installed, normally it should contain the language file that must be deployed by the extension manager.

The words that you can see are the named used by the extension and that are not translated by their real text.
So you have to search why is language file is not found.

in general, in the back-end you should find the language files into
/administrator/language/en-GB/ <an extension name>
/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_phocadownload.ini

In the front-end the language path is
/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_phocadownload.ini

I checked for the mentioned files and they´re in the right place. I don´t know if this helps, but when I open the administrator for the main site, the translation works fine for every component I have installed. The problem happens only for any slave site administrator.
