On my account i have already 75 slave sites, and everything worked fine.
Now I tryed to add another one, just as I add the other 75...and nothing happends.. Is not working.
I have only the config_multisites.php in my 76 slave site.
Is there a 75 limit? Or what could be the problem.
The new slave is: www.masajtimis.ro
I use:
Joomla 1.5.25
Joomla Multi Sites version: 1.1.24
Patches definition version: 1.1.11

Any help will be great.

There is no limit in the number of websites.
You can have more than 1,000 websites.

If you had an error (red message), the master index is not created and the website is not recognized.
So verify that you don't have any error when creating the slave site.

That was a issue from my server administrator.
He deactivate the symbolyc links. After he activate them, all was ok.
He told me because there are a lot's of hack attacks through symbolyc links. Is that right?

However, anything I do, i still have :

Unable to decompress data
Error while deploying the patches update


Why, and how can i fix it?

I am not informed of hack attack with symbolic links.
You are the first that mentioned that.

If you are not able to decompress a file, this might be due to a permission error.
Perhaps that the directory where you want decompress does not have correct permission to let you doing that.

My hosting provider told me he can not give me access to symbolyc links, but he can do all my changes requests manually by the root.
What file should he alter to:
a) add a new slave
b) edit an existing slave.

Can you please tell me what are the folders where the data decompress it?
And what is the correct permission? (777, or 755..?)
