relative path for ispconfig 5 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear Edwin, we need migrate all our site joomla 3.x multisites to ispconfig, How can we configurate relative path on multisite and rebuild symbolic link?

The multisite path is shown absolute (/var/www/clients/client1/web49/web/uc/) and we need to use it or configure relative path as the ftp (web/uc/).

Thank you.

The relative path can be defined in the JMS Template used by the slave site.
In the "folders and files" tab of the template, put in the last column "from file or folder" the relative path like ../../YOU RELATIVE PATH/../{file}
where the keyword "{file}" re-use the name of the file or folder corresponding.

You can easily propagate the same relative path when you write it in the title and click ok (V - icon).

Remark: the change of the template does not affect the existing slave sites.
You will have to remove the symbolic links manually before doing the Open/Save of the slave site for which you want to rebuild the symbolic links.
