I have installed analytics module and added analytic code as below
www.sitename.com=UA-0000000-1
www.sitename.com/foldername=UA-0000000-1

But it is not working fine.

i have installed the module through tools to subfolder site and then added the code as above but no output

After that i tried to add code for master site as below then it worked.
UA-0000000-1
The same i followed for slave site
UA-0000000-2
the above case worked.

How to add the code in master site for all the sites. Please provide any document.

The "mutisites google analytics" extension does NOT recognize /foldername.
Google use the domain and not domain + folder/

You can only use www.sitename.com

The parameters are not shared between the website.
Those parameters are saved by joomla in the DB.
Therefore, as long as you don't share the "whole website", you have specific parameters for each websites.

So how can i track analytics information for microsites .

www.sitename.com/foldername

If i place analytics in the master site , that will be enough .

If the "microsite" is a slave site created under JMS then you don't have to specify any domains associated to the google code.
The case where the domains is mandatory is when you share the whole content of the websites. In this case, as you have a single DB with same table prefix, you need to have several domain in the "Multisites Google Analytics".

If you created a slave site into a subdirectory that share the whole content then you can not setup a specific code for this sub-directory.
