Jumi Extension 15 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I can only install Jumi extension in the Master not in the slave.

Error message is "Folder alway exists..."

After installation in slave. I found that the Jumi componet and Jumi module are installed. Bu the other three Jumi Plug-ins are not.

Pls advise.

URL of the extension:
jumi.vedeme.cz/index.php?option=com_remo...func=select&id=7

JED:
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/edition...content/1023/details

Many thanks.

I don't know this message "Folder alway exists..." that is probably specific to this extension.

Sorry...

The exact wordings are:

"Module Install: Another module is already using directory: "/home/jms/jms_template/t052/modules/mod_jumi"

JInstaller::install: There is already a folder called '/home/jms/jms_template/t052/plugins/system/jumi.php'. Please initially check whether:...........

the Extension is already installed
# the file names in the XML file are spelled correctly
• there are no XML files listed inside the extension.xml file
• all of the files (not including XML files) are correctly listed in the extension.xml file and there are no duplicate entries
• there is an empty folder listed from a previous installation attempt

I have been able to reproduce the problem reported.

Unfortunatelly, I have no solution except the one that consist in the replication of the master website where the extension is already installed.

They directly call the low level API to install the other extensions and therefore bypass our JMS component that allow overwrite existing files.

I worked around it by importing the corresponding rows of record into the MySQL.

It seems work.

Thank you.

Perhaps effectivelly if you insert some MySQL records manually into few table to simulate the installation of the extension.
