I have imported the template fine into the master site but every time I try to import it into a slave site I get the following error. Please can someone help...



This extension is not found in the master site.
Please install it first in the master site before installing it into the slave site

You will find several answer in the forum for that.

This simply mean that you have to install the extension in the master.
When you try to install an extension in a slave site, it must be previously insstalled (present) in the master website.

The master website is the library or repository where are stored all the extensions.
The slave sites can only install extension that are currently present in the master.

As my orginal postm states, the extention is already installed in the master & fails to install into my slave site.

I can see the template in the master, but unable to install it in my slave site.

I can install the template into the Master site without any errors, but if I try to install the template into any slave site it reports:

This extension is not found in the master site.
Please install it first in the master site before installing it into the slave site
Install Template Error

Please help...

Hello,

Having the exact same problem. Steps to reproduce:
1. Templated created on artisteer2 (result attached)
2. Template successfully installed on the master website.
3. Begin instalation of the same template on the slave
4. Error presented:
This extension is not found in the master site.
Please install it first in the master site before installing it into the slave site
