The problem identified in SH404SEF concern the "Articles Sharing" and the fact tha SH404SEF does not restore the original URL arguments.
I know that in SH404SEF it is possible to specify the URL when you have a "Not found" page but I don't know personnally how to use SH404SEF and Nica521 was not able to use SH404SEF to specify such URL parameters correctly.
This explain why I have suggested to use the standard SEF present in Joomla.
