Article Sharing not appearing in slave site 15 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi There,

As a test I created a menu item, and selected the slave site, however the menu item is appearing in the master site and not the slave site.

Not sure if I am doing anything wrong, help will be appreciated.

Thanks again!

The menu created in a master website are not shared with slave site.
You have to create a menu in a slave sites and if you have installed the Articles Sharing on the slave site, you can select articles from the other website (for example from the master websites).

So if you want to see in a slave site the articles from the master website, you have to install the Articles Sharing on the master website and in the slave site. Once this is done, you can go in the administration of the slave site and create a menu item that select an articles from the master website.

Hi there

I have setup article sharing in the master and slave and then setup the menu items to point to the master, however the articles are still not being published in the slave.

Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Dear Nica521,
I have just published a new Articles Sharing 1.0.3 and JMS 1.1.15 that fix some problem that are perhaps related to what you have described.
So I suggest you get those version.
Go in the "Get Latest Version" menu to request new download ID.

Thanks for that!

With regards to the multi sites update, do I simply extract and upload?

CheersB)

Go in get latest versioon www.jms2win.com/get-latest-version
Select the item for which you want to receive a new download ID and click on "Get Latest Version" button in top right.
You will receive a new email with new download ID.

Once you have downloaded the latest version of the extensions, install them over the current one.
With the "Articles Sharing", you have also to go in the Admin to force a "purge all converted files" in aim to remove all the generated files created by the previous "Articles Sharing" version
