I have two websites such as,

www.domain.com
sub.domain.com

I am not using the multisites component so i made views on sub.domain.com site which retrieves __user* and __session tables from www.domain.com

I did also replace the secret key with www.domain.com on sub.domain.com

I have installed and enabled the plugin on both sites.



These are the settings on both sites, im sure adding the same domains in both places would not matter as self pinging is ignored.

I tried the troubleshoot method and both sites return true.

Unfortunately i am not logged into one site if i log into the other. Sometimes it would not simply let me log in at all and returns "session expired "

You mentioned that you enabled the debugging as mentioned in the troubleshooting.

Did you verified in both sites that they are OK.
As you have a kind of ping/pong, you can perhaps have success in one direction and fail in the other direction. In this case this may logout.

So verify step by step each connection in each direction.
You can just disable the plugin on the other side to verify one direction at a time.

I just verified it by disabling the plugin in one end and logged into the site.

the link in the script returns true, but i am not logged into the other site. its the same on both sites.

and also apache suhosin module is disabled.

i am really not sure what the issue is here.

This is a problem of setup but I don't know what is wrong.

Verify that you use the same secret value in all the websites (configuration.php) or that you have specified the secret to each domain defined in the plugin.

I really have no idea what is wrong with it. been stuck with for more than a month now.

I have done it in a way it was instructed.
