Weird extra "foldername" in URL 12 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi.
I'm assuming this is a JMS related bug:
I've installed JMS and Article Sharing (and partial user sharing).

Now, when I create a new menu-item to a single article, the URL becomes:
dev.hostname.com/index.php/Docman/test instead of dev.hostname.com/index.php/test.

I uninstalled Docman, retried creating a menu-item to a single article
dev.hostname.com/index.php/BreezingForms/test.

Why is this "extra foldername" created??
Anyone seen anything like it?

The reason identified during a billable support was that the joomla menu was incorrect and that the menu had to be rebuilt.
We had to go in the joomla "menu manager" and click on the "rebuild" button to rebuild the joomla menu table.

The debugging shows errors in the internal left/right fields saved in the menu table.
We didn't identified the reason why the left/right fields was not correct.
Rebuilt had recomputed all the left/right values present in the menu and after that the SEF was correct.
