I installed JMS on Joomla 1.6.6 the first thing I noticed was that the register button didn't work I just got a blank screen, anyhoe the BE jms buttons manage sites, tools, templates also don't work nothing but blank screen.

don't work!

I have tried to install it on another joomla hosting env. and it works there. So I assume this problem has something to do with hosting env. or .htaccess or php.ini. I need help!

As we don't know your hosting environment we don't have any idea of what can cause that.
Perhaps you had a timeout during the upload or that the install were not completed successfully.

Hello, so I checked the videos again and I made a few changes to php.ini to increase timeout, file size etc. though it didn't work.

I pretty much got a clean installation of

Apache/2.2.17 (Linux/SUSE)
PHP Version 5.3.5 (I installed this: #zypper install php5 php5-mysql apache2-mod_php5 php5-zlib zlib php-mbstring php5-mbstring php5-gd)
Joomla 1.6.6

I tried doing a directory install but without success, the same problem exists! I can pretty much give you access to the whole webserver if that helps?

Like for joomla 2.5.x, you need PHP 5.2.4 or higher.
