I'm creating a new slave and its going really well!!!! I have a domain name 'compare-removals-companies.co.uk' which I'm trying to add, however the name won't fit without being cut off in the text box for the 'Site ID' So the most letters I can input are 'compare-removals-companie' Well that's no good lol

Normally, the Site ID should be short name or a mnemonic as it is also frequently used as table prefix.
It is also strongly suggested to avoid using dot(.) inside the site ID that may confuse MySQL when it is used in a table prefix. In MySQL, the dot(.) can be used to identify the DB name (ie dbname.tablename).

When it is also used in a table prefix, try using a small site id and avoid exceed 12 characters.

I understand that but you made my template and 'List of domain names' contains the following: www.{site_id}.co.uk My domain is 'compare-removals-quotes.co.uk' therefore my 'Site ID' is 'compare-removals-quotes' and won't fit in the text box to create the slave.

So enter a short site ID and re-enter the domain value with complete info and potentially also the deployed directory with all the info.
