Vsn com_multisites_V1.2.38.zip gives the following errors as a clean install after following the update instructions in the FAQ - SAME erros if trying to install OVER 1.2.35 with patches removed

JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

VSN com_multisites_V1.2.35.zip installs without errors and the patches update installs perfectly without errors.

Perhaps you have problem of upload max size or timeout during the upload.
The latest JMS Multisites 1.2.38 is now 2.4MB.

The Upload size is set to 6MB... Sorry that is not the answer.

Perhaps this is the timeout.

Apply the procedure described in the forum with the alternative solution.
This will reduce both the problem of the timeout and upload size.
Depending on the upload speed, the timeout can be reached.
