Hi Edwin

It seems as if you can save changes to the site alias from the front end. screencast.com/t/MTlkNjdjN

As I don't see the full page, I don't know if you have the SEF enabled or disabled.
If you have SEF enabled, can you also retry when disabled.
During my retest, I think that this occurs when SEF is enabled and not when it is disabled.
Can you confirm ?

Hi Edwin

That is in fact what is happening. SEF turned ON - can't edit

Thanks

If this is when SEF is enabled, I am able to reproduce but I can not tell you why.
For the moment, all I can tell you is that when you go into the Joomla Javascript joomla.javascript.js that perform the "submit" processing, and that I execute it step by step then it works but when I launch the same the same joomla script, it does not works properly and cleanup all the fields. I suppose there is something related to synchronisation or time to execute things that may impact the result.

That seems not easy to find and I can not tell you if I will be able to include it in the next release.

As I saw that you have created your own layout for the front-end, perhaps you can try to put a submit field in the form to avoid using the javascript that simulate the submit.
