Dear Edwin! I have updated: - Joomla 1.5.18 to 1.5.20 - Joomla Multi Sites to 1.2.34 - Patches definition to 1.2.40 When I try to make new slave site based on template I have error message "SITE_DEPLOY_ALIAS_CREATION_ERROR2" Could you write any recomendation? Br, Dmitry

You asked to create an alias and the creation of this alias failed. When an alias is defined in the website creation, it is attempt to create the symbolic link between the alias and the deployed directory. If it fails, you receive this error. So check the Alias field that it has a correct value.

Dear Edwin, thanks fot you fasr response. I have tried to make different alias (www.domain.org/sitename and www.domain.org/multisites/sitename) without success.In result I delete alias from site template and broblem was resolved. What are rules for prepare link alias? Br, Dmitry.
