I'm trying to setup a test site to test new joomla and jms releases.
I copied the file system for my entire webfolder and the database.
I setup a new hosting site and copied the webfolder there and imported the database.

I then updated my configuration.php and my multi-site configuration.php files as well.
I can get into the main joomla site and the my child sites fine, but I am concerned that i'm getting a "Delete failed: 'data.php'" error on my multi-site component when I go into it. I'm not really sure where to look to fix this. It give me that error in all the config screens in multisite.

any help would be appreciated.

This is probably due to a permission error on that file.
So you have to check the chmod and the ownership of the file.

Perhaps you can try using the Joomla FTP Layer and use the FTP login that have more permission.

The file is located in administrator/components/com_multisites/models/info directory
