Permission issues... 14 Years, 9 Months ago

I have some permission issue is impacting other multisite features.
For instance when I save the config from a slave site, it changes the master site to the slave site that was saved.
One module that is installed from the master is referencing the other slave site's menu.
I can't install extensions on the slave sites, which is what I thought may solve the problem. It's a superfish menu.
I have gone to Multisites/Tools/master db and selected the slave.
I've uninstalled and then installed the module. But this doesn't seem to help.

When you say that you save the config, which one.
Is this the global "configuration.php" file ?
If YES, are you using the FTP Layer ?
Perhaps you have setup your FTP Layer of the slave site to access the root of your master.

I mean the config on the slave sites.
I am using the ftp layer, and I wanted to change it in the slave sites. But when I do, it changes the overall master site.
and any module that references a menu only uses it from one of the sites. it has gone from one slave to another and is now on the master. I originally thought it was the module, but I think there's an issue with it choosing the menu. It used to work where it only chose the menu from same site you were in.
For instance this is how it should work slave 2 selects slave 2 menu. Slave 1 selects slave 1 menu.
But now Slave 1 selects Slave 1 menu. Slave 2 selects slave 1 menu. Master selects slave 1. and it changes back and forth from site to site in which one is the selected one. (almost like it doesn't know what it is)
I put this as separate. I set most folders to 755 and files to 644 I don't think it's permission.
thanks.
