JMS does not perform synchronisation but provide a sharing functinoality.
The major difference between synchronisation and sharing is that in case of synchronisation, you duplicate the information. In the case of sharing the information is present only once in the website that is the recipient of all the other website.
With JMS, the user sharing or extension sharing is something that is decided when you create the website because this impact the DB layout itself.
Convert an existing website that may already have users into a "user sharing" is not easy because you may already have plenty of dependencies associated to the user ids.
So in your case, as the website seems exists, and perhaps that the users that must be shared are present in the "
www.portal.com" that does not seems to be a slave of the master, this would require a special analysis to see if it is possible.
