JMS Re-Installation 12 Years ago Karma: 0
Can i reinstall the JMS component after the master and slave site has been created.

We have a site installed with JMS component. We have also made the site live with five subdomains created. Now, i have an issue with JMS component, can i remove the old component files and install the component again.

Whether this will affect the sites already created

If you uninstall JMS on the master, it may happen cases where the slave site are not more recognized as a slave site and that the master website is displayed in place of the slave site.

This depends on how the slave site is defined and configured in your server.

When you uninstall JMS, the definition of all the slave site remains on the disk.
So that when you re-installed JMS, you can retreive all the slave site definition.

Which issue do you have with JMS.

In most cases, you can re-install JMS over the current JMS.
