I understood that Jevents was compatible with Multisites. It seems to work fine on the Master but when creating a calendar on the slave it doesn't seem to work correctly. I have it running on Joomla 1.6.3 and I have tried a couple versions of Jevents now and have 2.1.12 installed.

When creating a link to the calendar It renders it out and comes back with the following

An error has occurred.

ERROR 404 - Category not found

Home Page



It always gives me a link www.domain.com/index.php/events/month.calendar/2012/03/13/-

Where the last section is the date of course.

If I put in www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_jeve...&layout=calendar

I see the calendar and all the links I try to use on it give the 404 error above.

Any thoughts on why this wouldn't work on a slave site?

I'm wondering if it is trying to do a filter since all the links keep adding in a ?Itemid=101 at the end. ie www.domain.com/index.php/component/jeven...2/02/13/-?Itemid=101

I found the fault. You have to have "Search Engine Friendly URLs" in the site config turned to off.
