TOPIC: Rokminievents Configuration

Rokminievents Configuration 12 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Rok minievents is a module that shows jevents, jomsocial or Google calendar events in a customized way. When we load it on the master it allows the user to configure which calendar to look for, but in the slave sites it does not show these features. Not sure if it is looking at the master and not the site it is loaded on? It automatically loaded on all sites without having to synch with the JMStool sharing. Is this normal?
In order to remove this module from the master do we first need to remove from every slave site first? We also attempted to install a copy of the module on a slave knowing it was already installed on the master and it told us this:

This extension is not found in the master site.
Please install it first in the master site before installing it into the slave site
Error installing plugin

Do you think we had a bad install? It would seem many of the installs are not fully installing. Thanks for your input

Would you please send us the "RokMiniEvents" in the attachement of an email.

This extension is not yet defined in the JMS Tool menu and we didn't review it.
So it is difficult for us to give you an answer.

When an extension is not defined in the JMS tool menu, you can re-install it into the slave site to let joomla add the definition into the DB.
In Joomla 1.7, you can also use the "dicover" function present in the "extension manager"
