I have finally found the reason that is due to a change done in Joomla 1.7. We have reported the bug to Joomla to ask them fix the call to a routine that does not anymore return anymore table name with prefix replaced. joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker...racker_item_id=26596

Hello, We have applied the patch from the joomlacode.org website and can confirm that this has indeed resolved the issue and we can successfully update and re-share comprofiler with our slave site. It looks like Joomla will be fixing this in the Joomla 1.7.1 release. Thanks again for your great help with this! -John
