Ninja RSS Syndicator compatability 13 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi

I am trying to use the Ninja RSS Syndicator which seems to work fine, other than that the feeds appear to overwrite each other.

For instance:

www.workingforwiltshire.com/index.php?op..._id=2&format=raw

produces the same feed as

www.chippenhamlibdems.org.uk/index.php?o..._id=2&format=raw

even though they are produced by two different slave sites.

I recognise that this is probably due to the plug-in not being compatible with Multi-Sites so my question is:

i) can it be made to work; or
ii) is there a RSS syndicator that is compatible?

Many thanks

Jon

Generally, RSS feeds call the website using the port written in the URL.
Perhaps you have to add a synonym in the slave site that correspond to
workingforwiltshire.com:80
and
chippenhamlibdems.org.uk:80

to avoid reading the "default" website (the master website).

Thanks for the response

Unfortunately this does not seem to make any difference ;-(

Are you aware of an RSS Syndicator that does work with Multi-sites?

Thanks

I know that standard RSS is working.
Concerning Ninja RSS, I can just tell you that I have declared it when that was the version 1.0.9.d
