If you want a solution to display news in another website, you can do that with the articles and the "Multisites Content Modules" that allows you display in a module the latest news or news flash coming from other website.

If you want to display the same JEvents between the master and a slave site, this is also possible when you share the JEvents extension between the website.
See the tutorial video 16 to get inspired on how to share the extension between website.

When you share something, this is bi-directional.

The data is physically saved in the "parent" website that is used for the replication.
So in your case, you create a slave site that share the JEvent and you will have the same JEvent in both the master and the slave.
The data will be stored in the master and the slave will have a link on the MySQL table present in the master.

Both will see the same information.

There is no need another video to redo exactly the same thing as the data are identical in both website.
