About compatibility with JoomDOC 13 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Dear Edwin!

I have installed last version of JMS, Joomla 1.5 and JoomDOC. Problem is common docman.config.php file for all slave site. I have seen your patch for it and make manualy subsite config files, but result is bad. Could you make any advice how resolve it problem?

You make refence to a patch that is provided for DocMan and not for JoomDoc that are 2 different extensions.

If you are using DocMan, you have the possibiilty to change the path of the DocMan directory.
So check the DocMan configuration.

Perhaps JoomDoc has also a configuration to specify the dmdocument directory like this is the case with DocMan

Hello Edwin!

JoomDOC is based on DocMan component with similar (maybe full same; config file is same) files scructure (www.artio.net/downloads/joomla-related/j...oomdoc-2-0-2/details). Could you convert DOCman to JoomDoc patch or make recomendation for do it and applay?

If JoomDOC has the possibility to configure the dmdocument directory, why don't you use it ?

The patch was present when this feature was not present in DocMan.

Dear Erwin!

I can configure dmdocument folder in each slavesite, but it path is saved in one config file for all sites. I need possibility to have config file for each subsite separatly, for example,
Site_Root/administrator/components/com_joomdoc/docman.config.site_ID.php, or save it conig file in Site_Root/multisites/Site_ID any (sub)directory. I would like to save upload files in Site_Root/multisites/Site_ID/joomdocs(or dmdocument) directory.
Could you write any recomendation about prepare JoomDOC patch based on DOCMan patch and/or pacth activation scenario?

Today, all I can see is that JoomDoc can not be installed with success and I don't want to create something on an extension that is not stable.

If you want to benefit of this functinaliity, I suggest that you use DocMan
