Photo gallery manged by Slave sites. 14 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi!

I have installed Pchoca Gallery in my master site and slave site too.

Every thing seems to be ok but here is the problem.

What i want is that, slave1 site admin should have access only to the images that is in their space for example their images are placed in this location.
/www/vars/mastersite.com/httpdocs/multisites/slave1/images/pchogallery/sample/

I am able to do the joomla configuration in such a way that when a slave admin can upload the images to this location. But harder part is when i access pocaho gallery in the front end it looks for these images folder in the master site.

/www/vars/mastersite.com/httpdocs/images/pchogallery/sample/

So what happens is i cantt view any imgaes in my Gallery. I need Some help here.

Do i want to change the Coding in Photogallery, to take the path of the Multisite and display the images. What wiil happen in my master site if i do that.

Please Help me!

Thanks
-Ram

You can create a slave site that has a specific image folder.
See tutorial video CP-05.
www.jms2win.com/tutorial#jms12x-CP-05

You have to create a JMS templates and ask to create a copy of the images folder and not share the master images folder

If the slave site correspond to a domain or a subdomain, check that the domain or subdomain is assigned to the correct "deployed" directory.
If it was assigned to the master directory, this may also explain the reason why you display the wrong image.
The key element is that your domain or subdomain has the correct "root document" directory that must be equal to the one defined in JMS "deploy folder".
