Compatibility with library extensions type? 14 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I'd like to know if JMS 1.2.x is compatilbe with extensions whose XML have this tag:
Code:

 <install type="library" version="1.5">

I've tried to install JAuthTools in both master and slave test sites, and my platform details are: PHP 5.2.11, MySQL 5.0.32, Joomla 1.5.14, JMS 1.2.9

After installing some of these tools (like the attached one) on master site, I get error below when I try to install it on slave site:
"This extension is not found in the master site."

File Name: lib_jauthtools_usersource.zip

I try to install the extension in attachement on joomla itself and it says that it already say that it can not install it.

So before to reply to you, I would like to installl it on a standard joomla.
Do we have to install something else before try to install this extension.

The current JMS has only implemented the component, module, plugin, template and language extension as delivered in standard.

The library extension seems something new and JMS does not contain any "slave site" library package installation.
The only solution for this extension if you give us the procedure to install it on a master website would be to define it for our JMS tools that does not require to call the joomla installer.

Hi Edwin,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.Yes, first you need J Library Management: joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/68...2392/com_jlibman.tgz

Thanks for your support!

Thank you.
I am now able to install on the master website.
When I will have analyzed this issue more in detail, I will comeback to you.

Question, why do you try to re-install the lib_jauthtools_usersource.zip into the slave site.

Once you have the "library management" present, it see this JAuth Tools in the slave.

Personnally, I have installed the com_jlibman.tgz on the master.
After that I have use the JMS tools to install the "libraray management" because it does not contain any table.
I have install the lib_jauthtools_usersource.zip in the master and I can also see it in the slave site (like for the languages).

So why try to re-install the "auth ressource" in the slave site as it is already present.

I haven't access to test (development) server now. Let me check if I can see the auth usersource in the slave site tomorrow morning.

Best regards,
DamiĆ .
