TOPIC: JCE 157 upgrade
#1805
JCE 157 upgrade 15 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I upgraded JCE 157 on master site and went to do the same on slaves, it worked on the fresh slaves, but it didn't work on the sites that used a template. Please advise. Gave the following error:

* The version of the extension is not identical to the one installed by the master site.
* (Found version: '157' expected: '1.5.0 Stable')
* Install Component Error

But it is 157 on master...

Perhaps you have several manifest files present in JCE or perhaps they don't have updated their manifiest in the administrator/components/com_jce.

Check the version number that is displayed by the Joomla / Install / Components menu.
Probably it will also display 1.5.0 stables.

If this is the case, this mean that you may have several manifet ".xml" files present in your administrator/components/com_jce and this is probably a bug in JCE update/upgrade procedure.

Check the file jce.xml that normally contain the JCE version number.
If you have several xml files, perhaps you need to do a cleanup.
