I am searching for information if Joomla Multi Sites can do exactly what I need.

I have joomla 1.5 + virtuemart 1.1.9, I need 3 slave sites that share VM/joomla users and DO NOT share products. I have too many products and want them on 4 databases not in a single big one. Is this possible?

It would be perfect if when using user panel user could see all his orders (from all sites) but I quess separate product database meens separate orders, accessable from proper slave site only, am I right?

I would be grateful for an explanation.

YES with JMS, you can share the users between different DB and there is also an option to share the VM users only.

You just need JMS for that and the paramter is present in the JMS Template menu / sharing tabs.
