I want to share a component overseveral slave sites.

I noticed if I iinstall community builder or similar , it can be shared.

But the component my client built can't.

Is there a predefined list of shared components?

Or must the components meet a certain criteria to be shared, if so what is the criteria?

Share the content of an extension require a manual review of the PHP code of the extension to discover its database model and the queries that are performed in the MySQL tables.

If the extension is self contain (does not perform queries outside its own tables) then it can be shared. The only this accepted is queries to the users because the users can be shared.

When you go in the JMS tool menu and click on the help button, you are redirected to the list of extension that are defined in JMS tool and the one that can be shared.
