I created a new slave site last night. I only put domain.com in the List od domains field and in my haste, forget to check www.domain.com, figuring domain.com would include that as well. It does not.

Now after a day of my team working on the site, we discover that www.domain.com still directs to the master site.

I've tried editing the Site Details in the Site Manager and add in the new domain, but alas, it didn't work.

Is there a way to add a new domain to an already deployed slave site?

Actually, I went ahead and deleted the slave site, but didn't delete the tables then recreated it with using the same database prefix and we didn't loose any of the work.

You have to defined the domain with and without the WWW

JMS multisite perform an exact matching and is also case sensitive to allow matching correctly the subdirectories.

So it is important to specify correctly the domain name and also the protocol (http, https, and sometimes also the port :80 for RSS feed).

You have to edit the current slave site and update the list of domains to enter all the synonyms corresponding to this slave site.
You must receive a "blue" message (successfully saved) to have the new domain list taken in account.

Sometime, you can not save because the "configuration.php" is readonly.
