Please this is the message below when i try to patch the files. Please help me.

As you can read in other thread, copy failed is the symptom of a problem of permission.

Probably the owner of the files and folders is not correct.

Verify the ownership of the files and folder.
In general, such error appears when the server is not correctly configured and that you have files that are transfered via FTP and own by the FTP user and other files that are uploaded via the website and that have the files that are owned by apache (or similar).

If this is the case, perhaps you need to use the joomla FTP layer to have the files managed by the FTP user (same owner).
OR fix the server configuration. This can be fixed when suPHP apache module is installed on the server.
