Hi Edwin, how are you. I added a new plugin to my SOBI2 component and did this on the master. the change appears on the master but not in any of the slaves and I am not sure why. Do I have to add the plugin individually in each SOBI2 component in the slaves? please advice. Thanks. PS: it was the "gallery plugin for SOBI2. I intend to add more plugins in the future. Thanks

After that you have installed a plugin in the master website, you have to re-isntall it into the slave sites where you also want to use it. You can either use the JMS Tool menu to perform the install or go in the back-end of the slave site and re-install the plugin. When working on Joomla 1.6, you can also use the "discover" menu present in the "extension manager".

Hey Edwin, from your email above, does it mean I can use multi sites with j1.6??? I installed 1.5.8, cause I thot it was only configurd to work with that. is there any thing I need to note while I upgrade my Joomla package?
