I am running my joomla 1.6 on php 5.2.5. Is that a problem? Joomla seems to run fine on it.

Normally, Joomla should work on PHP 5.3 or higher.

I think the problem is related to the MySQL user that is used to connect on the DB.
Can you confirm that you are using different DB with different MySQL user or do you use different DB with the same MySQL user and password ?

If you are using cPanel, can you do the test when you are using the same MySQL user for several DBs and see if the problem still present.

I use a different user and password for each DB.

I think that is you disable the "refresh" icon button this will remove the error message.

You can edit the file /aadministrator/components/com_multisites/multisites.cfg.php
and remove the comment on the MULTISITES_REFRESH_DISABLED
to have

Code:

define( 'MULTISITES_REFRESH_DISABLED', true);

without the "//" in front.

That did get rid of the error messages.

I will work with it a little more now and see if I can get my templates working in my new sites.

Just wanted to let you know I was able to get my sites working! The cloning of the main site now seems to work good with no errors. Thanks!
