i got stuck right after finishing installation.

Installed all patches etc but when creating the first site the DB info at the bottom of the page is empty. So, when i go to the new site i just get a blank screen.. Any suggestions how to fix ?

When you start creating a fresh slave site, this is normal that you don't have the DB info filled as the slave site is not yet created.
If you followed the tutorial video 9, once the slave site is defined, you should have a Joomla installation setup that is started to setup the DB and the "configuration.php" for this slave site.

I suggest that you review the tutorial video 9 and put exactly the parameter provided in the video.

* Site ID = slave1
* Domain name = {site_url}/multisites/{site_id}

Hi,

i have checked my installation but i don't have an php error log file - and to be honest i don't know why there should be a fatal php error. The Main website is working perfectly without errors, installation of Multisite ran without problems..

Any suggestions how to find the error - i already spent hours on this and have no idea hiw to move ahead...

PS: Might a re-install of Multisite help ?

I just found out, that the index.html in the slave directory is empty. I guess this is the reason why it shows a blank site ??

GOT IT WORKING NOW - With the default values - that's ok for now !
