Can I force JMS symlinks? 13 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
My server does allow symlinks and I use them often. The "hello" script confirms that symlinks are working. However, under JMS>Settings it says "forbidden" which is incorrect.

Is there something I can change to force JMS to use symlinks?

This probably mean that the Joomla Global Configuration specify a "tmp" and a "logs" directory path where you don't have permission.

JMS Multisites uses the tmp and logs directories to test that links can be created.
So check theses paths in your Global Configuration.

Set permissions for tmp and logs to 777 and symlinks work now.
