Hi,
I updated Joomla 1.5.12 -> 1.5.22 and JMS to 1.2.43.

All new slaves with new data prefix works fine.
All old slaves are ok on front page but in administration I get double menu items and double component items! Trying to open any menu item results in blank screen or in plain lines of text.

Has anybody run into something like this?

Do you have double menu item for all the components or only for few of them.

This is looks like if a new definition of the component was added in your DB.
A solution is to uninstall and re-install the component that have the double menu.
Becarefull that if you uninstall the extension with the JMS Tool menu, this will also cleanup (delete, remove) the table used by the extension.
Perhaps you should uninstall the extension from the back-end of the slave site and ensure that this extension does not delete the table.
In all cases, do a backup to avoid losing data.

Once the extension is uninstalled, you can re-install it from the JMS Tool (when it is defined in the tool).

Contacts and Search are the only ones single, but they open a blank page too.

The whole menu bar comes twice (site, menus, content...site, menus, content,...)
The slider comes twice (logged in users, popular,...logged in users, popular,...).

If back-end Site Menu, Menu, Content, extension, help and all the menu items are in double then I don't know.

This case is nearly closed.

While updating the server to php 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.5, double lines (copies) appeared in the following phpMyAdmin tables; components, modules and plugins. Removing the lines brought 22 slave sites back alive.

Hope this helps somebody else too.
