TOPIC: Configuration Help

Edwin,

Is it possible to fully share the templates folders
but copy or create the images folder and then
edit the template and put a generic name for the logos such as "logo.png" and then just make sure all the logos are named that in their specific "domain/images" folder?

That way the templates could still be updated in one location but the logos and other images would be specific to the domains.

YES this is absolutelly possible that you modify the jooma template in such way that is get the logo from a specific directory.

We already did that for some customer for whom we slightly modified their templates to get the logo from another place.

You can also get inspired of a share /images directory and create beside a /images_spec that could be specifc to each slave site. So that you could share the images between website and put the specific one into another directory.

This just require that you update your joomla template (themes)
