Hello,
I have this almost working on my server now, here is the error I get when I new site is set-up:
Unable to create the symbolic link [multisites] -> [/var/www/vhosts/xxxxxxxxxx.com/httpdocs/multisites].
However if I go to this site it is there, but if I go to the Administrator page I get a 403 error, is this a plesk problem again? Since I am using plesk at this time.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
Ok well we have enabled symbolic links in our vhost.conf and the admin area is now showing however it seems that the new site is using the DB from the master site not the new DB. What do i need to do to fix this...
Thanks for your help.

Check that you are correctly setup the slave site definition.
If you have deployed the slave site into a specific directory (that is normally the case for domain or subdomain with Plesk), put different site name title in the "configuration.php" file to ensure that you can login with different title in your website.
If your slave site display the title of your master, you have to cross-check that JMS Manage site definition to ensure that you have correctly spelled the domain name or subdomain name.
Check for example that you have defined the domain with and without the WWW.
