TOPIC: JMS MS component genned on our slave site(s)

JMS MS component genned on our slave site(s) 14 Years ago Karma: 0
When I create my slave site, from the master site, the slave site contains the masters JMS MS multi-sites component.

The slave is built from a template, I changed the 'Folders and sharing' in the template to 'ignore: Ignore File or folder' and genned another slave, it still had the jms ms component genned.

How do we keep from porting into our slaves the jms ms component?

Thanks in advance for suggestions on managing our master/slave environment.

The "Folders and sharing" tabs present in the JMS templates does not allow to "discard" the copy of some extension.
When a website is replicated, all the tables are copied.

So start to create a "temporary" website in which you uninstall the "mutlisites" extension.
You can also go in the JMS tools and select the slave site from which you want to uninstall the extension.

Thanks for the fast response!

Used the uninstall of jms ms from the slave. Worked awesome!

Then I built a slave from the site where jms ms was uninstalled from the master...

again worked great...
